Harrison Investment, Inc. was established in 2001 by Michael Harris, a well-know trader and system developer. Michael started developing mechanical trading systems in the late 80's while working for Wall Street firms. He has been an active trader since 1989. In 1994 Michael won a third place in the World Cup Championship of Futures Trading using a short-term T-Bond futures trading system, finishing the year with a gain in excess of 35% (real funds, not simulated trading) during a bear bond market. In the same contest for the following year he earned a return in excess of 18% to win a fifth place.

Michael is the author of the best sellers "Short-term Trading with Price Patterns" (1999), "Stock Trading Techniques with Price Patterns" (2000) and "Profitability and Systematic Trading" (2005). He has also written many articles published in mainstream trading journals. He  holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (1981) and two Masters degrees, one in Systems Engineering (1983) and another in Operations Research (1988).
